Our Birth Workers are professionally trained to support families during pregnancy, labor, birth, and the immediate postpartum period. They offer continuous physical support and evidence-based information so you can make informed decisions collaboratively with your medical team along the way.
Our Team Provides
2-3 prenatal appointments (60-90 min in length) focused on preparation for labor and postpartum, tailored to your unique needs.
Assistance with the completion of a “birth plan” (birth preferences & goals).
Attendance at Childbirth Education classes at a reduced rate.
The peace of mind that comes with knowing you have access to our extensive network of Brave Birth back-up doulas.
Physical, emotional, and informational support for your whole family.
Equal guidance for the supporting parent/partner/person to help find their place of confidence in the birth room.
24/7 on-call support services from 37-42 weeks (earlier if there is a preterm labor concern or you’re expecting twins).
Up to two hours of immediate postpartum support to help your family settle.
Assistance with the first latch, if breast/chest feeding.
Help with milk cessation if not breast/chest-feeding.
1-2 postpartum visits to ease your transition into parenthood.
Six weeks of postpartum phone and email support.
Complimentary attendance at our weekly New Parent Group for planning, pregnant, or new parents
The level of investment is dependent on years in practice and add-on services offered.
Some of our doulas offer sliding fee scales and can offer flexible payment plans.

childbirth education

Our Birth Workers offer this class in a group setting or privately. The techniques learned have the ability to reduce anxiety and stress, as well as increasing your resilience and ability to cope effectively during labor.
Learn through a mixture of lecture, discussion, media, movement, and guided relaxation techniques. Enrollment is capped at six families per session in order to individualize the material and provide space for group discussion. Depending on your insurance, you may be able to receive reimbursement for services through your HSA or FSA.
First night home
$425
FIRST NIGHT :: Coming home from the hospital or birth center can be centered on recovery and rest while also promoting bonding for your whole family. We’ll come spend 8 hours with you, tucking you in and staying to support you through your first night at home. During those hours, we will tidy your house and tend to your baby, waking you only when your baby needs to feed. We’ll make your family a meal for the following day and a cup of coffee in the morning before handing you a hopefully still sleeping baby.
